Restore the soul and structure of this Parisian apartment in Xth district whose Haussmannian volumes now embrace a family life: this was the goal of Ambre Yakoubou who had to re-establish an arrangement haloed with comfort and fluidity. “There had been no major work for almost 40 years, only a few cosmetic interventions. Very partitioned, the place housed a medical office whose existence we had to forget”, confides the architect at the head of the project.
Line of sight optimization and refinement
Excited about this 125m2 whose five double windows are close to the tops of the trees planted on Boulevard Magenta which runs below, the couple of owners, waiting for their unborn baby, immediately plan themselves. Nevertheless, Ambre Yakoubou admits: “The apartment has undergone a total renovation, including major demolition and cleaning work, in order to reorganize the spaces, make them more functional and envelope them in natural light that was previously hidden.” Lightened proportions, corrected distribution, chromatic framework articulated in sequences and play of relief brought by a twist of materiality, visit to a family apartment with pure lines.
