The Tulle aquarrecreation center is getting a makeover. Better insulation, in terms of windows and floors, air treatment, ventilation and heating are also completely renovated.

Bathers must feel good, but also comply with environmental standards. And even if the work has a cost, a little more than 5 million euros, it will also allow energy savings.

With consequences on the operating budget, specifies Jean Mouzat, the vice-president of Tulle Agglo in charge of roads and community heritage.

“It will be very substantial savings, it will be for example 4000 m³ of water, and 2 million KWatts which are saved”. 300,000 euros in savings per year are thus planned..

With this work, no more slippery floors and drafts, bathers will also benefit from new offers such as aquabike, thanks to the raising of the sports pool, but also a wellness area, created for the occasion “it will allow users to enjoy saunas, hammams, sensory showers and a jacuzzi”, indicates Coralie Sage, the director of the Tulle aquarecreation center.

Although it is 21 years old, the Tulle aquarecréatif center needs a good brushstroke. And even a little more because the work in progress makes it possible to create a wider offer for bathers, but also to bring the building up to environmental standards.
