A real tragedy almost took place in Bagnols-sur-Cèze (Gard) during the day of Wednesday November 27, 2024. “For an undetermined reason”, explains the national police of Gard, a woman went at midday, around 1:00 p.m., to the home of her sister and its husband.
If the reasons remain quite unclear, the police know that a violent physical altercation quickly broke out between the different protagonists.
A stab “under the heart”
During this argument, the victim was hit with a stab wound “under the heart”according to police. The perpetrator being his brother-in-law, a 45 year old man.
If the vital prognosis of the Gardoise was not engaged, it was still injured very seriously.
While an attempted homicide was initially upheld, the legal procedure was reclassified as aggravated violence with a weapon. The victim received 21 days of ITT (total incapacity for work). The accused was referred on November 28 before being released. He will soon have to answer for his actions in court.
