At the center of their discontent: the revaluation of their pension following the recent decision of the Barnier government to at least revalorize pensions on 1is January 2025, with a second increase in the summer for the lowest-income retirees.

“Since the start of Emmanuel Macron's presidency, retirees have continued to lose purchasing power,” judge Jean-Louis Deleaume, departmental secretary of retirees for the CGT, Michelle Potet, facilitator of the CGT section of Mont- de-Marsan, and Bernard Bocquenet, departmental manager of retirees for the FSU.

“We have managed to make people believe that retirees are privileged. This is false! Many retirees receive less than the minimum wage and nearly 10% live below the poverty line,” they are indignant.

(1) It brings together the CGT, FO UCR, CFTC, CFE-CGC, FSU, Solidaires, LSR, Ensemble et solidaires, CFR, Unsa and Anraf.
