Karim Laghouag will be competing in his third Olympic Games this summer in Paris. The rider from Nogent-le-Rotrou has been selected for the French eventing team with his faithful Triton Fontaine.

Having won the title in Rio in 2016 and then won the bronze medal in Tokyo in 2021, each time as a team, Karim Laghouag can dream of a third Olympic podium this summer in Paris. Barring any mishaps, he will be there for the Games, his third in a row.

The 48-year-old rider from Nogent-le-Rotrou is included in the eventing selection unveiled this Saturday, July 6, by the CNOSF. He was selected with his faithful Triton Fontaine, while his second horse in the running in the pre-selection, Embrun de Reno, was out due to injury. Karim Laghouag

The Eurelien will compete in the Games alongside Stéphane Landois (Chaman Dumontceau) and Nicolas Touzaint (Diabolo Menthe) while Gireg Le Coz (Aisprit de la Loge) has been named as a substitute.
