Guillard and Couilloud affected

Traveling to after their home defeat against Clermont, lost two players to injury during the first period. And not the least since they are Mickaël Guillard and Baptiste Couilloud.

The first came off in the 26th minute, replaced by Lavanini. The Habs seemed affected on the lower part of the body. He had been limping low for several minutes as well as at the time of his release.

Bad news for the man who had been selected by Fabien Galthié for the tour in South America and then for the November tests.

Finisher in the Blues' three matches, he had accumulated 100 minutes of play and could claim a place in the group for the 6 Nations Tournament.

Long absence expected for Couilloud?

On the side of Baptiste Couilloud, “forgotten” by the French staff, the images seem more worrying. Indeed, the championship's co-top try scorer could have suffered a serious elbow injury.

The scrum-half was hit in a ruck as he attempted to scratch the ball. He was then forced to leave his partners, his arm in a sling.

His absence could be a huge blow for him and for the LOU. The Lyon team, in great difficulty in the Top 14, depends enormously on the performance of its number 9.
