In the Hautes-Alpes, in Montgenèvre, this Saturday, November 30, skiers gathered in large numbers at the departure of the Chalmettes chairlift. The opportunity to enjoy the joys of skiing now when the other ski areas are preparing their opening.

So, next weekend, December 7, Serre Chevalier, Vars, Risoul Les Orres and Puy-Saint-Vincent will welcome their first skiers. The following weekend, December 14, it will be the turn of La Foux d'Allos, Pra Loup, Le Sauze, Orcières Merlette, the Dévoluy sites (La Joue du Loup and Superdévoluy), as well as Ancelle (Hautes- Alps).

If Chabanon plans to open on December 21, a pre-opening on the 14th could take place if snow conditions permit.

December 21, the first day of the winter holidays, will see the opening of all the other resorts. Those of Montclar, Le Seignus d'Allos, Sainte-Anne, du Queyras (Abriès, Ristolas, Arvieux, Molines), Réallon, Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes, Laye, Serre-Eyraud, Pelvoux Vallouise and La Grave-La Meije .
