Following the success of the public meeting last May, which brought together more than 100 people, the “Les Hameaux du Levant” Senior Village project in Marcey-les-Grèves (Manche) is reaching a new stage. Soon 50% of accommodations are already reserved.

Located in the heart of Marcey-les-Grèves, this village aims to meet the needs of independent seniors in the region, by offering them a suitable and secure living environment close to shops (pharmacy, butcher's, health center, florist, hairdresser…).

The buyers are people from Marcey and the surrounding area or Normans who had to leave the region (for professional reasons for example) and who wish to return to their roots.

A tailor-made and inclusive habitat

Designed to promote the autonomy and comfort of habitantsthe project offers 32 single-storey houses, customizable, with private garden and parking space. By integrating modern and adapted equipment, this village intends to meet the comfort and accessibility requirements of residents. Shared spaces and services for a friendly living environment

To strengthen ties, “Les Hameaux du Levant” includes common spaces such as a convivial house, a bowling alley or even a vegetable garden. A la carte services, including home assistance and leisure activities, will also be offered to enrich residents' daily lives.

A response to the challenges of aging

This project represents a rare housing opportunity designed specifically for seniors, in a region where access to suitable housing is becoming a major issue. By establishing itself in Marcey-les-Grèves, this village offers seniors a place to live adapted to their needs, while helping to energize the town and strengthen the local fabric thanks to local shops and services.

The building permit, filed in August, the agreement is scheduled for early 2025. Start-up is planned for May-June 2025. The work should last between 20 and 24 months for approximate delivery in the first quarter of 2027.
