With Montgenèvre, the ski season has just started this Saturday, November 30. It is the first ski resort in the French Alps to have opened in 1907. Each year, it is also the very first in the Southern Alps to operate its ski lifts.

An opening concert
Three artists will perform on the snow front from 4 p.m. for a 4-hour DJ set. The station welcomes DJ Jeny Preston followed by Jordan Patural from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. before Italian duo Marnik. A fireworks display is also planned in the evening.
In recent days, the area has benefited from significant snowfall. Friday November 22, the resort recorded nearly 40 centimeters of snow. Day and seasonal passes are available for sale on the station website.
