In the middle of the Atlantic, the sailor helped his children by ordering them food. “My 3 daughters were stuck for dinner because their mom was at tennis. So, my eldest called me and from the middle of the South Atlantic, I ordered McDonald's on Uber Eats“, reveals Fabrice Amedeo on his Instagram account.
While the start of the 10th Vendée Globe was given almost three weeks ago, the skipper therefore abandoned the race to take care of his daughters. “The McDonald's was delivered at 8:10 p.m. to the house in Vannes. Isn’t that crazy?“, continues Fabrice Amedeo, all smiles. At the 3 a.m. check-in this Saturday, November 30, the sailor was still in 36th place.
