The circus performer and photographer say they “mixed their lives” with those of “heroines” from pop, politics and sport for their hybrid and introspective project “Heaven and Hell”.

Welcome to a parallel universe. In a dark church, a car with its headlights on sinking into the ground under a layer of oil, female faces made up under which we recognize the circus artist Vimala Pons on screens and photos. Music to listen to with headphones and enigmatic texts. What is this unidentified photographic object? Heaven and Hell is a hydra with the female pantheon of two artists: Vimala Pons and the photographer Nhu Xuan Hua. Meeting around this hybrid project which mixes performance, installation, photo and influences of John Carpenter and Cindy Sherman.
