Musicasens with Gilbert Montagné and the stars of the 80’s

Two free evenings dedicated to nostalgia are planned for Place Jean-Jaurès in Sens, for this 2024 edition of the Musicasens festival. The party will begin on Friday, July 5 in the evening at 8 p.m., with iconic hits from the 80s and 90s. On stage, Nâdiya, Partenaire Particulier, Thierry Pastor, Ève Angeli, Helmut Fritz, Génération Boys Band and Pedro Castano, who will be delighted to dance La Macarena with the audience. The latter will not be left out: they will have to sing from 10 p.m., to ensure the giant karaoke.

The next day, it will be Gilbert Montagné’s turn to provide the show, accompanied by seven musicians. Then, at 10:30 p.m., the Trio des légendes will close the Musicasens festival with a tribute to the three Vieilles Canailles, Johnny Hallyday, Eddy Mitchell and Jacques Dutronc.

The Parc du Chapeau in Joigny will resonate with the sounds of the fanfare on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July for the 7th Chapo Folie’s music festival. This year, its organisers have opted for a 100% fanfare theme. There will be no fewer than 25 musicians.

The event opens its doors at 5pm on Saturday with its traditional craft market. At 7pm, the stage will start to come alive thanks to musicians, some from Yonne, others from all over France. Each will perform for nearly an hour and a half of concert. The first group, La Peau du zouk, with its nine musicians, will stroll through the park. The next two groups, Les Fils de Teuhpu (rock’n’roll) then Lazcar volcano (funk, hip-hop), will be singing until late in the evening.
Sunday July 7, from 3 p.m., it’s time for the show with the musical tale The Thief of the Four Seasons (from 4 years old).

The 7th edition of the festival supported by Notes musicales in Irancy is once again offering six concerts this year until the end of July, the first of which will take place this Saturday, July 6. At 8 p.m., the monks’ hall of the Saint-Germain d’Auxerre abbey will host the Air des forêts concert, with Lucile Podor on the violin, Léa Sicard on the flute and Guillaume Sigier on the piano.

In Fontenoy, the Musée de la Bataille is organizing, for the first time, this summer, creative workshops related to the Battle of Fontenoy.
