As part of the installation of photovoltaic shade structures in its car parks, the Métropole de Lyon is launching a call for expressions of interest.
Until January 20, 2025 at 4 p.m., the Métropole de Lyon is receiving all applications as part of its call for expressions of interest for the creation and operation of photovoltaic shade structures in its car parks. This follows in particular its vote on June 27, 2022 in the metropolitan council for a Solar Plan in favor of solar energies.
“This call aims to select one or more operators in charge of the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and financing of these photovoltaic shade houses, connected to the network.“, specifies the Metropolis in a press release. Its objective is to promote already artificial sites, in order to quadruple the production of photovoltaic energy in the territory of the community by 2026.
Each candidate will have to undergo a mandatory visit on December 12, 2024 at 2 p.m. Registration for this can be done until December 11 (6 p.m.). Interested parties must, prior to their application, detail their project to demonstrate their ability to develop it in accordance with expectations.
