Due to poor road conditions and visibility problems, school transportation is canceled Friday for all schools in the Sault-Sainte-Marie region.
The cancellation includes Batchawana, Goulais River and the Searchmont area.
Buses also do not operate in the central Algoma region including Echo Bay, Bruce Mines, Desbarats and St. Joseph Island.
Algoma and Huron-Superior Transportation Services also says all schools are closed in Sault Ste. Marie and central Algoma today, except Thessalon Public School.
