Night has fallen in the Henri-Fréville district, in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). Around 7:30 p.m., this Thursday, November 28, 2024, a 40-year-old driver, at the wheel of his car, allegedly collided with a scooter on which two individuals were, at the intersection of avenue Henri-Fréville and rue from Sweden.

The accident turns into a violent robbery
Following this encounter, the man then declined his status as a liberal nurse, which did not calm the pair who allegedly violently beat him up. His vehicle was damaged by the two perpetrators who slashed his tires, before stealing his cell phone and access badges to the common areas of his patients' buildings.

The two individuals still on the run
The victim will go to the Rennes Hospital Center (CHU) on their own, before emergency services arrive at the scene of the accident. The man reportedly suffered multiple bruises to his face and a suspected broken nose.
An investigation was opened after his complaint was filed. The case has been handed over to the Territorial Crime Division (TCD). The two individuals on the scooter are still on the run at this time.
