Two minors are suspected of having committed multiple thefts from vehicles has Valves (Morbihan) in recent weeks. They will have to explain themselves to the courts at the end of 2024.

About twenty thefts from vehicles

The misdeeds took place mid-April to mid-June 2024. The police unit for combating property damage has recorded a twenty victims of car break-ins in the Nord-Gare district (Bilaire car park, rue de 65ᵉ Régiment d’infanterie and rue de Strasbourg). Several objects were stolen: administrative documents, bank cards, driving licenses, clothes, keys, camera, etc.

Two minors arrested

After an investigation and the exploitation of video surveillance cameras, the police got their hands on a minor under 14 years of age. He admitted the facts in police custody. During the search of his parents’ home in Vannes, objects from five thefts were found.

His accomplice is quickly identified. The second individual is also a minor. He is a teenager of 15 years of Pontivy. No items were found in the family home.

Summoned before the juvenile judge

The first will be convened in the month of December before the juvenile judge of Vannes. The second in the month of November in Lorient.
