After a landslidework must be carried out in Cruseilles. Of December 2 to December 20 a you January 20 to March 14The RD 23 in the Deyrier sector will be closed 24 hours a day.
Traffic restored for the holidays
Traffic will be restored from 21 December au January 19, except for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes (excluding agricultural machinery and school transport).
“In the sector of the hamlet of Deyrier in Cruseilles, the RD 23 suffered a landslide at the end of 2023 which caused a complete cutoff to traffic. Following temporary works, traffic could be restored but the stability and geometry of the road must be restored,” explains the Department.
The institution details the process:
- The construction of a wall nailed on micropiles of 41 meters to
support the embankment - The replacement of materials and the creation of steps to stabilize the land with drainage to evacuate the present water.
- The recovery of the asphalt over a distance of 50 meters.
A diversion will be put in place via the municipal road known as Chez Vaudey and
via departmental road 1201, route du Suet and route de Deyrier.
In total, this operation will cost 350,000 euros, 100% financed by the departmental council.
