All staff at the Aquarive swimming pool in Quimper (Finistère) are called to go on strike on the morning of Sunday, July 7, 2024, announced the CFTC of territorial agents. The swimming pool agents have been in conflict for two years with Quimper Bretagne Occidentale, owner of the structure.

They point the finger “technical malfunctions of the swimming pool, impacting their long-term health” et “repressive management”This time, it is the failure to comply with the conclusions of a RPS (Psychosocial Risk) protocol which is at the origin of this new walkout.

They denounce the “deplorable” state of Aquarive

The impacted agents ask “the withdrawal of unjustified disciplinary procedures initiated against agents and the reallocation of clothing supplies for technical and reception agents, transparency on water and air analyses, on the monitoring of dechlorinators and technical procedures which are currently deficient […]the readjustment of salary treatments between permanent qualified agents and temporary contract agents.

In its press release, the CFTC also warns about the state “deplorable” d’Aquarive : “HS slide no longer meets standards, shutdown of the wave pool, jacuzzis, hammams, ventilation malfunction causing disruption and closures…”
