In the third constituency of Deux-Sèvres, the National Rally, represented by Philippe Robin came out on top in the first round of these legislative elections. The far-right party obtained 35.27% of the votes cast. The outgoing MP, Jean-Marie Fievetinvested by the presidential camp, came in second place, with a total of 31.12% of the votes.

Beaten in the first round, the candidate of the left union, Juliette Woillez a called to vote in favour of the outgoing MP in order to block the extreme right. This Thursday, July 4, it was the section of the Socialist Party of northern Deux-Sèvres which also supported Jean-Marie Fiévet for this second round.

No voting instructions for the Republicans

Regarding Matthew Manceauthe candidate invested by Les Républicains, who came in fourth position in the first round with 13.47% of the votes cast, no voting instructions were issued.

The defeated candidate believes that his voters will choose the candidate who is closest to their ideas. The transfer of votes from voters who voted for Les Républicains could be decisive on Sunday in this constituency.
