This is an event not to be missed near Loubens (Gironde). On Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1, 2024, the Château de Lavison opens its doors for a Christmas market with a program combining two themes: gastronomy and decoration. Alexandra wholeheartedly hopes that the public can “ feel a sense of home» upon entering Lavison's courtyard. The visit to the castle will be free. The beautiful 13th, 15th and 18th century building which dominates the vineyards will be illuminated to celebrate the event; a large tree will take pride of place in the main room.
Salmon, foie gras and wine and many other good things
At Lavison, you are sure to taste organic smoked salmon and other fish in identical packaging, from Christian Menant.
But also, Landes foie gras from Cyril Sarrade, the Délices de Troussins, the cheese from Jan de Beauséjour, the plate from Philippe Labrousse from the restaurant Les Fontaines, the honey from the hives of Bassanne and the delicacies from “Garrigues”, chocolate, guinettes, pralines and desserts.
Table decor, tree decorations and gifts
Art artisans are for the most part following the same trend: we create,we decorate without damaging the planet.
We create something beautiful, something new, with materials we have on hand: fabrics, wood, cardboard, earth. It is possible to have lunch on Sunday noon at the castle: foie gras, salmon and other delicacies.
