For the ninth day of the Regional 2 championship, the Entente Nord Lozère travels to Allier, to face the Racing club of Vichy. The match will kick off this Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the Louis-Darragon stadium.
Thanks to their big 5-2 victory against Lapalisse last weekend, the Entente Nord Lozère (ENL) is getting back on track. Currently fourth, she continues to hang on to the foot of the podium, only a small point behind Lapalissois.
In this group, every point is precious. There is very little difference between the teams. The slightest defeat or the slightest victory can completely change the season. There are two matches left for the green and white before the winter break. The ENL must confirm this start of good momentum against Vichy, then US Sucs and Lignon, next weekend.
Stick to the start of the season objectives
“Our objective is clearly to capitalize before the break, declares Lilian Condon, the Lozère coach, If we win the next two matches, it is because we have managed to get back to the top of the table and restart the machine.“
Ending the year 2024 in good conditions, and with confidence, would allow the Énélistes to leave in February with the objectives they had given themselves at the start of the season, which were undermined by up-and-down results.
Vichy, an experienced team
The ENL will have to face a Vichy team, also in difficulty at the start of the season. Indeed, RC Vichy remains with two defeats in three matches and is struggling to get out of the middle of the table, barely managing to find positive results at home. If the Lozériens leave with a success, we must not take these opponents lightly. They are used to playing at this level and have more experience.
Return of Martin Touron in defense
“It's a complicated team to tackle, continues the Lozère coach, but if we stay in the same state of mind as the last meeting, if we keep our level and our offensive confidence, there is room to get a result.“
No changes should be noted in the squad, apart from the return of Martin Touron, at the heart of the defense.
