The idea had been bouncing around in the two men's heads for a while now. Thomas Grelier worked for several years for a car rental company and was able to see the importance of the costs linked to tires. One of his childhood friends also successfully opened a discount tire establishment.

Anti-waste network

It is a question of both proposing cheaper products and avoid waste.

“The idea is to offer a range of tires at competitive prices, but also to allow a tire to be used fully, until the end, before its destruction. »

Far too many tires end up in recycling before having been fully used. And it is precisely these tires that the two men use to supply their catalog.

“Our tires are originally intended to be destroyed in European countries. »

Some states, such as Germany or Luxembourg, impose very strict legislation which requires motorists to change tires very regularly, depending on the seasons. Due to a lack of storage, many vehicle owners are forced to get rid of tires that have barely been used. These are the ones that are collected by the supplier of Pneus Discount 85 after it has meticulously checked them.

Advantageous price

“We only choose high profile tires,” specifies Thomas Grelier. They thus ensure a good thickness. Tires are also subject to a new control at Achards as well as a rebalancing.
