In a press release, this Thursday, November 28, the Hautes-Alpes National Police announced the placement in police custody of a man. The latter is suspected of refusing to comply and aiding illegal entry and stay in the territory, committed in Montgenèvre. Police officers trace the beginnings of this investigation initiated after a road check carried out on the night of November 27 to 28, in the Italy-France direction, carried out by the border police (PAF). “The vehicle refuses to evade control, forces passage and flees towards Briançon”, specify the police. The dam put in place further down the valley proved to be ineffective.
