Street art takes over a place steeped in history in Paris! For one weekend only, on Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 2024, 25 urban artists will take over a place closed for around ten years to reveal to the general public their frescoes created on site. We'll tell you more about “L'Équipée 3”, this street art event to discover for free and not to be missed at the beginning of December!
Every year, more and more frescoes created by talented urban artists cover the facades of buildings in the capital. We of course think of the 13th arrondissement, which has become a favorite place for many street artists, such as Seth, Shepard Fairey and Inti. Events are also regularly organized in Paris, each time revealing the creativity of these incredibly talented artists.
This fall, time for the new and third edition of “ #the_equipped», an artistic event with the self-taught artist of Portuguese origin at the helm, The Jo V Footprintonce again supported by volunteers Murielle, Anne, Nath and Franck. Known for his works representing the faces of children, women and men, known or anonymous, and often marked by a small red heart, The Jo V Footprint has already exhibited at Lavo//Matik. We also find several of his frescoes on the walls of Paris, such as at Spot 13.
After having organized the first two editions of “ #the_equipped » in February then last May, The Jo V Footprint therefore announces the return of this event of street art at once unusual, free and collectivebaptized “Team 3“.
To be discovered for one weekend only, the Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December 2024the event will unveil the frescoes of around twenty street artistsemerging or well-known, in a Parisian location, located just a few meters from a metro entrance. For now, the exact address of this spot remains secret, but The Jo V Footprint tells us that it is a 250 m² place steeped in history. “In the 20th century, this place became very very popular and welcomed big names in French song“, the street artist further tells us, who adds that this place, closed for around ten years, is therefore reopening its doors!
As for the line-up, get ready to admire the works by 25 different artistsamong which The Jo V Footprint of course, but also Nexerthe young and talented 2li, Raphaelle Emery, the Poulpeuses, Diane, aubi__artor even Maca.
