The big names in Gard gastronomy gathered with 200 guests at the Domaine de Panéry in Pouzilhac.
Nearly 200 guests gathered Thursday evening around Serge Chenet, president of Gard aux chefs, at the Panéry estate in the commune of Pouzilhac. The association which brings together the big names in Gard gastronomy was created in 2015. This Thursday evening it presented the 18th edition of its magazine.
Gard aux chefs primarily brings together chefs, with MOFs (best workers in France) but also Michelin-starred (11 stars on the menu for this year 2024) who have set themselves the objective of supporting and promoting local producers. The circle of 16 chefs was enriched by producers, taste makers and winegrowers, 31 members in total; all from the same territory, Gard.
Diane Jardin and Jérôme Nutile editors-in-chief of the 18th issue
It's a duo of chefs: Diane Jardin, la petite cuisine, caterer in Bellegarde and
the star of Nîmes Jérôme Nutile who is on the cover of this issue and who has lifted the veil. They chose to highlight, throughout the pages: David Girard market gardener in Bellegarde, A rice farmer from Saint-Gilles, Sébastien Roussel, a fisherman from Grau du roi, Sébastien Granier, or even Gérard Moyne-Bressans, MOF, master chocolatier now retired but who delighted the people of Nîmes for 30 years.
This event was also an opportunity to welcome a new member: Jacqueline Ginon, owner of the Panéry estate since 2017. The restructuring of this estate now allows us to offer a table and rooms in the middle of the vines and olive trees.
