The Aéroprotec group is expanding in Saint-Nicolas-de-Redon. This French specialist in surface treatment and painting for civil, military and space aviation (350 employees, 26 million euros turnover in 2023) whose headquarters is located in Pau, was acquired in 2022 a factory in this town in the north of Loire-Atlantique. He has just taken over, still in Saint-Nicolas-de-Redon, a research laboratory specific to materials processing (1,200 m² surface area).

Training center
Called the Lab'by Aéroprotec Services, it has two vocations: to continue research on the future of surface treatment and to be open to all manufacturers for doubt resolution, testing and series monitoring services. It will also be a training center, internally for its employees but also externally in the areas of non-destructive testing and surface treatment. By 2027, it will be made up of around fifteen employees.
