Millau. A fire broke out at the Caisse d’Épargne on Boulevard de la Capelle

This Thursday, July 4, around 8 p.m., a fire broke out at the Caisse d’Épargne on Boulevard de la Capelle in Millau, in an uninhabited apartment located between Rue Claude Peyrot and Boulevard de la Capelle. Quickly alerted by many residents who saw ” thick black smoke “, the Millau firefighters went to the scene to control the flames and secure the area by deploying two vehicles.

The firefighters, mobilized within minutes, deployed the large ladder to the roof of the bank to contain the fire which, according to initial findings, ” could be related to ongoing work “, and prevent its spread to neighboring structures, including the bank branch.
