It was around 10:30 a.m. when a heavy goods vehicle hit a man on the A11 motorway near Angers this Thursday, November 28. The events took place in the commune of Saint-Léger-des-Bois, delegated commune of Saint-Léger-de-Linières. According to the first elements collected, the victim threw himself from a bridge spanning the highway before being mowed down by a truck further down.
The shocked truck driver
Seven vehicles from several emergency centers in Angers, Loireauxence and Saint-Georges-sur-Loire were sent to the scene. A team of resuscitation doctors could only note the death of the victim.
