Paris 2024: Thierry Henry reveals the four players left out

Thierry Henry had until midnight on Tuesday to send the International Olympic Committee the list of players selected to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

On Tuesday evening, the coach of the French Olympic team had the difficult task of revealing to his players which ones would not be participating in the Paris Olympics. Knowing that Thuram had already left the training camp, since Juventus, his future club, did not allow him to play in the Olympic tournament, Thierry Henry had to tell four other players that they would not be part of the adventure. And once that was done, he then sent his list to the IOC. This Thursday, at a press conference, the French coach revealed that:Andy Diouf, Théo De Percin, Lesley Ugochukwu and Chrislain Matsima would not compete in the Olympic Games, but they will remain with the group for the rest of the preparation with reserve status. We therefore know the group of 18 players who will be in the running for a medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
