Shortly after 3 p.m., an electric cable, probably weakened by recent winds, was torn off when a heavy truck passed by before collapsing on the road, near the place called Plaisance and near the Jardin des Bêtes, according to our colleagues from Center Presse Aveyron.
The firefighters, quickly mobilized, secured the surroundings while awaiting the intervention of Enedis. Traffic was immediately diverted to allow technical teams to repair the installations. According to the authorities, the intervention was to be completed and the diversion lifted around 7 p.m.
