Vladimir Tarasenko on a plane to Montreal or Dallas?

A Montreal Canadiens fan claims on X that Vladimir Tarasenko took a plane to Montreal accompanied by his agent.

This information was quickly contradicted by several Dallas Stars fans, who claim that the plane was actually heading to Texas and not Montreal.

So the question is: does Tarasenko want to repeat what he did last season?

Last summer, Tarasenko played a real chess game. He waited until July 27 to sign a one-year, $5 million contract with Ottawa.

Then, his no-trade clause allowed him to plan a trade at the trade deadline to Florida, where he won his second Stanley Cup ring after the one he won in St. Louis.

Unsurprisingly, there are rumors that Tarasenko would like to stay in Florida if he had the opportunity, but it appears the Panthers don’t have the money to sign him.

Could he execute a similar strategy for a second straight year? The Senators got a third-round pick and a fourth-round pick for his services.

Signing Tarasenko would be ideal for Montreal, especially with a view to trading him at the next trade deadline if the Canadiens are not in the playoff picture.

However, it is obvious that between Dallas and Montreal, he would choose Dallas. He would very much like to return to Florida, but everything indicates that this will not be possible. He might as well stay in the United States, under the sun and with a team that is a contender for the Stanley Cup. So, the plane to Montreal or Dallas? Or a completely different destination?

Fans of both teams remain in suspense, watching every move and statement to try to guess where the talented player will land this season. For now, the mystery remains.
