On November 25, La Liste officially revealed its Top 1,000 best restaurants in the world 2025devoting in particular the heads Arnaud Donckele et Guy Savoy.

The latter access the 1re place in the ranking (Arnaud Donckele for La Vague d'Or at Cheval Blanc Saint-Tropez and Guy Savoy for his eponymous Parisian restaurant), a position that they share with 7 other establishments: Le Bernardin and Single Thread (United States); L’Enclume (UK); Schwarzwaldstube (Germany); Lung King Heen at the Four Seasons Hong Kong; Matsukawa (Japan); Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl (Switzerland).

With 126 restaurants, Japan is the country most represented in the Top 1,000, followed by the United States (114 tables) and (111 addresses).

Several other addresses in France appear in the top places, including: Ambrosia (), The Champenoise Plate (Tinqueux), Fullness (Paris) and the restaurant Régis and Jacques Marcon (Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid) in 2e place ; George White (Vonnas), Yes (Paris) and the Maison Troisgros (Ouches) in 3e place ; The Arpeggio (Paris), The Auberge du Vieux Puits (Fontjoncouse), The Navy (Noirmoutier-en-l’Île), The Meadows of Eugénie (Eugénie-les-Bains), the Woodpecker House (Valencia), the Mirazur (Chin) and the Ledoyen Pavilion (Paris) in 4e place ; The Auberge du Père Bise (Talloires-Montmin), the Salt Flakes (Megève), The House of Baumanière (Les Baux-de-Provence), The Five (Paris), The Gabriel (Paris), The Grand Restaurant (Paris) and the Pre Catelan (Paris) in 5e place.

A series of Special Prizes

Several Special Prizes were also awarded to highlight emerging talents, culinary innovations and artisans of excellence who contribute to enriching the gastronomic landscape.

Georges Blanc received the Honorary Prize for his career, the transmission and influence of his heritage, while Coline Faulquier (Signature in ) stood out among the Talents of the year.

Also rewarded on the French side: Aurora Storari (Hémicycle & Aura Dessert Dining – Paris) among the “Pastry Talents of the Year”; Kei Kobayashi (Kei – Paris) “Innovation Prize”; the Ox on the Roof by Moma Group (Paris) among the “Festive gourmet restaurant awards”; Christophe Hay (Fleur de ) “Ethical and environmental responsibility prize); La Ferme du Pré by Frédéric Anton (Paris) and Hakuba (Paris) among the “Openings of the year”; The Great Buffets of “Award for authenticity and craftsmanship”.

6 French addresses have been selected in the “Tables to explore”: Wild Inn (Service), Duler House (Lendou-en-Quercy), Tree structure (), Food (), Faubourg Daimant (Paris) and La Courtille (Tavel).

Finally, the local selection “New gastronomic destination – Pays Nantais” is represented by: Eric Guérin and Félix Rigaud (La Mare aux Oiseaux – Saint-Joachim); Mathieu Peru (Manoir de la Régate – ), Sarah Mainguy (Vacarme & Freia – Nantes); And Lucie Berthier Gembara (Sepia – Nantes).
