A 50-year-old man who lived with his mother in Donnemarie-Dontilly (Seine-et-Marne) was arrested on November 19. According to information revealed by The Republic of Seine-et-Marnehe is suspected of having committed 11 rapes and sexual assaults on underage girls. The events all took place in Seine-et-Marne between 1991 and 2012.
The investigation began this summer after the filing of a first complaint. A woman told police that she had been raped and sexually assaulted by her neighbor when she was a child. A few days later, another woman also filed a complaint, saying she had been raped by her father when she was a minor.
The soldiers realized that the man implicated by the two women was the same. They also identified nine other victims, all of whom filed complaints. According to a source close to the matter cited by The Parisianthe fifty-year-old admitted “all the facts with which he is accused”. Until now unknown to the courts, he was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention.
