It all started with a classic patrol carried out by the municipal policies from Carcassonne (hears), at the beginning of November 2024. Very quickly, the bikers identified a suspicious car which looked exactly like the previous report of a stolen vehicle.

Strategic positioning of the gendarmes

The suspect vehicle, driving at high speed, turned onto a dirt road before ending up in reeds after its driver lost control.

Finally arrested by the police

“Thanks to the professionalism and determination of the military,” the motorist was finally arrested “without putting up any resistance ».

The gendarmes then handed this individual over to the Carcassonne municipal police to entrust the continuation of the investigation to the national police.
