Romans-sur-Isère / Bourg-de-Péage – Spotlight on July 13 and 14

The cities of Romans-sur-Isère and Bourg-de-Péage have joined forces once again to offer you, on Saturday, July 13, at 10:15 p.m., a magnificent fireworks display. Nearly twenty minutes of pure magic! The fireworks, an original creation of the company Feux d’Artifices Unic SA of Saint-Paul-lès-Romans (150 years old last year) will be fired from the Saint-Romain belvedere (Parc François-Mitterrand).

To create it, its artistic director, Alexandre Gonnin, was inspired this year by the Olympic Games with all that it represents: fraternity, self-denial, courage, strength, patriotism. All these symbols will be represented by colors, sounds, allegorical figures. Very airy, it will be rhythmic, but also, in fact, particularly colorful and more abundant than ever. The evening will end with a grand pyrotechnic finale that will set the sky ablaze…

180° visibility and more

Thanks to its height and its amplitude (nearly 200 meters), the fireworks will be visible from almost everywhere, the best places to see it in its entirety being the Pont-Neuf, the Pont-Vieux, the quays and the banks on the Bourg-de-Péage side. Attention! A security perimeter, to be strictly respected, will be set up, over a radius of 200 meters around the firing zone, from July 12, at 8 p.m. and until July 14, at 12 p.m. The entire François-Mitterrand park will be strictly closed to the public as well as the Place de la Presle and the Côte des Chapeliers. In the event of bad weather, the fireworks will be postponed to July 14 at the same time.
