After one solidarity collection led the June 14 and 15, 2024 in the Biocoop store in Saint-Marcel (Your), The brand organized the presentation of a check and food at the Vernon-Gaillon Red Cross branch on Thursday, June 20.

“People gave a lot,” says Bernard Cabot, the director of the Red Cross branch. In addition to the food, the store gave them a check for the profit margins of the products collected, which was €509.

100 kg more than in 2023

« 289 kg of various goods, including baby diapers, were collected, which is 100 kg more than last year,” says Fabienne Echard, head of partnerships at the Nymphéas de Biocoop cooperative and grocery manager at the Saint-Marcel store.

Both the store and the members of the Red Cross are very satisfied with the operation. “So much food, in addition to this check, will help us a lot,” affirm in unison Bernard Cabot, president of the Vernon-Gaillon branch of the Red Cross and Mireille Petit, departmental president of the Red Cross.

“We will renew theChristmas box operationin December, with the Red Cross,” announces Fabienne Echard. An operation with a 15% discount on bulk goods will take place in the first half of September. “There will be the possibility of making donations to the Red Cross,” explains Pierre de Miras, bulk manager in Saint-Marcel.
