Storm Bert continues to cause damage in the Rhône.
While around a hundred interventions have been carried out so far in the Lyon metropolitan area, the TCL network is also impacted by the passage of storm Bert and its violent gusts of wind.
Tram line T2 ran in two parts on Monday afternoon: from the Hôtel de Région Montrochet stop to Grange Blanche then from Hôtel de Ville-Bron to Saint-Priest Bel Air. The stations from Ambroise Paré to Boutasse-Camille Rousset are no longer served in both directions of traffic due to bad weather. Relay buses are set up. The return to normal occurred around 6:30 p.m.
As for T3, the disruptions will last a little longer, until Tuesday. The line only operates from Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie to Gare Part-Dieu. The stations from Décines Center to Meyzieu les Panettes are not accessible. Relay buses are also set up. “Technical teams are currently evacuating fallen trees. A complete technical diagnosis can then be carried out in order to assess the time needed to repair the overhead line poles. A situation update will be carried out on Tuesday mid-morning“, indicate the TCL.
The situation is still complex in the Décines Center sector, where trees fell on the track, damaging 3 overhead line poles, the T7 and the Rhônexpress remain disrupted.
Also impacted, lines T4 and T5 will not resume this Monday evening. The recovery is hoped for Tuesday morning.
