The Food Bank launched its new collection campaign in the presence of the former Government spokesperson, Prisca Thevenot. The association hopes to be able to harvest 200 tonnes of food in this weekend.

The launch of the collection took place this Friday, in the presence of the former minister and spokesperson for the Attal Government, Prisca Thevenot.

« I came a year ago, as a minister. I promised to come back… Even if I am no longer a minister, I continue to keep my promise », Says Prisca Thevenot. This year, the president of the Gard Food Bank, Joseph Pronesti, hopes to harvest 200 tonnes of food compared to 157 tonnes last year. The main person concerned says he is more than happy: “ I sent a bottle to the sea… It finally had good sails! I was proud to announce the arrival of the former minister to my board of directors. »

Also present during the launch press conference, David Tebib, president of the Usam handball club: “ We have been partners for two years, we collect donations at Parnasse which welcomes 3,000 people.” The Nîmes was also present on behalf of the national handball league: “ the initiative is shared by all French clubs even if Nîmes set the example ».
