Two women hit on a pedestrian crossing by an alcoholic motorist, in Morbihan

Two women were injured in the center of Locminé (Morbihan), while they were crossing a pedestrian crossing. They were mowed down by a 72-year-old driver who was drunk.

Two women, one aged 44, the other 19, were injured on Friday November 22, 2024, shortly before 7 p.m., in the center of Locminé (Morbihan). While they were crossing on a pedestrian crossing, Place Anne-de-Bretagne, a 72-year-old motorist hit them.

Probable head trauma

One of them suffered a femur injury. The other was treated by emergency services for probable head trauma. Firefighters took the victims to the Vannes hospital center.

The gendarmerie was able to establish that the driver was drunk at the time of the accident.
