Friday evening, in Rennes, the firefighters were called at 6:40 p.m. for two people injured in the Blosne district of Rennes. Arriving on the scene, emergency services took care of two young people near Setubal square, near the Italy shopping center. The first, aged 21, was beaten with a hammer and a knife. The second, aged 19, was stabbed five times. The two individuals were transported to CHR Pontchaillou by firefighters. An investigation was opened into these facts in order to determine the circumstances of this case.
Dispute over alcohol
A few hours later, during the night, another man was also injured by a stab. Around 4:30 a.m. the victim, aged 34, was in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant, Burger King, on rue Jean Le Ho, located in the Route de Lorient activity zone. A dispute, fueled by alcohol, then broke out with another individual during which the 30-year-old received a stab in the hip. After returning to his vehicle, he then headed towards the parking lot of the Roazhon Park Stadium located a few hundred meters from the scene of the altercation. This is where firefighters treated the victim, suffering from a wound requiring stitches, who was transported to CHR Pontchaillou. This Saturday morning, the perpetrator, on the run, was still wanted by the police.
