Honey, bees, are far from being a discovery for Manon Mazier who has just finished her first season as a beekeeper at Champs-de-Losque, in Rémilly-les-Marais (Manche). It's more of a hobby that turned into a profession. Because before installing her first hives, Manon Mazier had another life.

“I was a hairdresser for fifteen years in , Saint-Lô and Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin, says the mother of two children, married to a farmer from Dézert. But at the time of Covid, it became complicated with very long days and sometimes difficult relationships with customers.” The hairdresser could have become a teacher but in 2021 there are no vacancies in the learning centers. So with an idea in mind, she decides to put away her scissors and her colors to turn the page.
