The Tree Festival organized by the City of Arras and its partners takes place this Saturday, November 23. A planting of the symbolic tree of births is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Parc des Rosati.
Several activities are planned throughout the afternoon:
- Workshop led by the Permanent Center for Environmental Initiatives (CPIE);
- Workshop with the Bird Protection League on the protection of wildlife;
- Workshop with Punch and Feather “Time Capsule”: planting words and seeds of texts;
- Workshop creating Energy Balls (with walnuts) with Diet'en Herbe, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Georges Brassens Social Center. Free ;
- Tale show “Mother Nature must have a makeover” with the Company in all ways. Two performances at 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. at the Georges Brassens Social Center. Free ;
- Living workshop “The Health of Chlorophylian Giants” with botanist Coriandre Prudhomme. At 2:30 p.m. at the Georges Brassens Social Center. Free. Upon registration. Outdoors.

- Friday, November 22: living workshop “Forest ecosystems” with botanist Coriandre Prudhomme. At 3 p.m. at the entrance to the Val de Scarpe park. Free. Upon registration. Outdoors.
- Wednesday November 27: outdoor observation and writing games with Le Punch et la Plume, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Departure in front of the Val de Scarpe school and arrival at the Georges Brassens social center. Upon registration. Free. Plantings are also planned in the shared garden on Rue Pré and Allée du Bon Pasteur.
