One year already! The LDLC Arena, OL Vallée's new venue, in Décines-Charpieu, celebrates its first birthday this Saturday, November 23. The least we can say is that it did not take long to establish itself in the cultural (and sporting) landscape of the Lyon metropolis: it has already hosted 63 events (25 concerts, 20 shows , 18 sporting events), Justin Timberlake, Sting, WWE Backlash and Smackdown wrestling, etc. and more than 550,000 spectators.
An “even more encouraging” start for its shareholders who have great ambitions for the venue, from 2025, with a goal of more than 100 equally diverse events per year.
“Anniversary mission”
Exclusive information (the LDLC should announce it in the coming hours): to celebrate this first anniversary, the room team has decided to pull out all the stops and offer a one-year subscription to ( Great) Lyonnais! “We are an international venue but also that of the Grands Lyonnais,” underline Xavier Pierrot, general director, and Alexandre Aulas, president of the operating company Holarena, who decided to offer a gift worthy of the event. “We are going to launch a big treasure hunt in the Metropolis, with QR codes and puzzles to solve, and the big winner will be our guest all year long! »
This treasure hunt, called “Anniversary Mission”, will be open from Saturday 23 (D-Day) to Thursday 28 November in Lyon and Décines. QR codes will therefore be hidden in emblematic places in the Lyon region: five (Place Bellecour, Place des Jacobins, town hall, Fourvière and the LDLC Arena). Scan them, answer quizzes and puzzles and earn points.
Participants will be able to follow their ranking live. On November 28, the person with the most points will win the jackpot: one year of access to all events in the LDLC program, for two people, until December 31, 2025 (from December 1is December 2024).

The LDLC has only announced part of the said program (around fifty dates) but there is enough to have a dream year: Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, Indochine, Lenny Kravitz, Twenty-One Pilots, Michel Polnareff , Jamiroquai, Justice, Julien Doré, André Rieu, Star Academy, Slipknot… and many more which will be announced over the months.
