Reminder: work to be planned on Saint-Joseph Boulevard

Work season

Renovation work is planned from July 3 to 10 on Saint-Joseph Boulevard, between Hains Street and René-Lévesque Boulevard. Dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area. In order to limit the impact on traffic, equipment will be mobilized starting at 3 a.m. so that work can begin at 5 a.m.

It should be noted that this work includes the removal of a thin layer of paving from the entire surface of the roadway, the installation of a new surface, the marking of the roadway and the resurfacing of the site. In addition, due to the high accident rate of the area at the level of rue Paris, the work also includes the closure of the central reservation of boulevard Saint-Joseph at this intersection.

Please note that one lane in each direction will be maintained during the work.

Safety reminder

The City of Drummondville invites users of the road network to be extra careful in the targeted area and to respect the signage as well as the instructions of traffic personnel, if applicable. It is for everyone’s safety to use civility in these circumstances, as at all times.
