As previously announced, Matthis Abline and FC Nantes are very hot. Stade Rennais and the Nantes club have made good progress on a transfer agreement, which would be around 12 million euros, with a fixed base of 10 million. The deal is not yet completely closed, but barring an improbable turnaround in the situation, it should be closed quickly, while the resumption of FCN training is set for Monday 1is July.

As a reminder, the SRFC had lifted the buyout clause (2 million euros) for the 21-year-old striker at the beginning of June, whom Rennes had loaned last season to Loire-Atlantique. Abline would already be OK with Nantes.

This is also the case of Enzo Le Fée with AS Roma, for a five-year contract, as reported on Friday, June 28, in the Italian press. The Stade Rennais midfielder (24 years old, under contract with Rennes until 2028) is attracted by the Roman proposal, but SRFC also rejected an initial offer of 15 million euros this Friday.

Roman sporting director Florent Ghisolfi (who knew Le Fée at Lorient) will return to the charge, probably by the beginning of next week, with a second, improved proposal.

In Rennes, we continue to send the message that the club does not wish to part with its midfielder, imagined as one of the important players of the future team. But we are also aware of the desires of the player, who discussed them with sports director Frederic Massara.

How far would AS Roma be able to go? Le Fée was purchased for 20 million euros from Lorient in the summer of 2023. Below this amount, no negotiations would be possible.

Whether Le Fée leaves or stays, in any case, no one seems to want this case to turn into an interminable soap opera. In terms of arrivals, Rennes also hopes to be able to conclude its first reinforcements by next week.
