Lisa Guillard from Angers came 12th in her first French Elite championships, in her city, in 49’29”32. The best time of her young career, on the track (50’56) as well as on the road (49’46). Enough to satisfy her: I didn’t think I would make my record. It was hard, I was between two groups at the beginning. The group in front was going too fast for me, but even though I crashed afterwards, I still set my record. This shows that it was going really fast. I tried to hang on. At one point I was following someone but it was below my pace, ultimately it allowed me to pick up a bit after the fast laps. I restarted a little and it did it.
