Motorists planning to take their vehicle during this long weekend will have to be patient and plan their trips in advance, particularly due to the events organized for Canada Day and the many moves.

Jacques-Cartier Bridge

The Jacques Cartier Bridge will be closed in both directions on Thursday from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. due to the Loto-Québec International Fireworks. However, the Ministry of Transportation has assured that access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels (R-136 east) will be closed, according to the same schedule, between exit 4 (A-10, Victoria bridge, Robert-Bourassa boulevard, rue de la Montagne) and rue Panet.

Highway 10

Highway 10 is at L’Île-des-Sœurs, so exit 5 will be completely closed from Monday 10 p.m. to Tuesday 5 a.m.

Highway 30 (de l’Acier) — Beauharnois and Saint-Constant sectors

Partial closures (at least one lane will remain available in each direction at all times) are planned on Highway 30 in Beauharnois (in the Madeleine-Parent Bridge area) and in Saint-Constant (in the R-209 area), from Friday 8 p.m. to Tuesday 6 a.m.

Metropolitan Express Network (REM)

Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30, as well as Monday July 1, between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., REM service will be unavailable due to a systems update. Buses will provide service during this period.
