An opening that results from a long process. “The location is an opportunity, Rodez has been one of the company’s targets for a while, but we had to wait to find the right available premises”explains the man who is at the head of this franchised establishment, Cyril Portal. “This opening is part of KFC's desire to continue its expansion in order to reach the milestone of 400e opening by early 2025″, continues the company, which now has 382 addresses in France.
60 employees, 168 places…
“Everything is in place!”summarizes with a smile Cyril Portal, who did not land there by chance, himself having ties in Aveyron, near Villefranche-de-Rouergue. The Castonetois restaurant will, however, be under the management of another man, Quentin Rouzaud. “We welcome 60 employees here, rejoices the franchisee. Employees of all profiles who come from the Ruthenian region.” During the opening, they are accompanied by teams from outside to train employees who are not yet familiar with this exercise. The turnover being very high in this type of establishment, which has barely opened, the Aveyron KFC is still looking for staff. “We were helped a lot by the local Mission and France Travail in terms of recruitment”underlines Cyril Portal. This is its eleventh establishment, the others being located in the Toulouse region and in Montauban.
On the menu, Kentucky fried chicken aficionados will not be disappointed, and this address intends to establish itself as a paradise for fans of buckets and fried chicken in general. “KFC meat is Label Rouge certified”says the franchisee in the face of concerns raised by the opening of a fast-food restaurant.
