Essonne placed on Orange alert for snow and ice

The alert will be valid tomorrow throughout the day. In total, 28 departments are under threat of snow, from Côtes-d'Armor to Haut-Rhin. Météo France announces between two and five centimeters of powder on the plains. The risk in Île-de-France, however, remains relatively low, but caution will still be required. And that’s good: the Departmental Council has just activated its winter viability plan which allows preventive salting of roads.
