Former Bordeaux midfielder Landry N’Guemo tragically died in a road accident this Thursday, June 27.
Landry Nguemo, a 38-year-old former Cameroonian international, died on Thursday, June 27, in a road accident between Yaoundé and Bafoussam, the Cameroon Football Federation announced on its Facebook page.
“Fécafoot has just learned the news of the death of the former Indomitable Lion, Landry Nguemo, following a road accident”, she posted.

The midfielder, born in Yaoundé, was part of the national team between 2006 and 2014. He spent most of his career in France. AS Nancy Lorraine, where he started at the training center at 16 before joining the first team until 2011, shared his “tremendous sadness” on his X account.

Between 2011 and 2014, he played with the Girondins de Bordeaux who addressed “their most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones”, can we still read about X. After stints in Turkey and Norway, he retired and coached the ASNL U16 team, “with the desire to pass on his knowledge and experience to the kids”reports the club on X.
